Proposed Rules, Regulations, and Schedule for Nordgar TV Fall Truck Season
18 years of age and older. If you do not have your profile filled out, you will be rejected. If you do not have at least 10 starts on your record, you will be rejected. We are looking for clean racers. Poor safety rating, wreckers, and griefers will NOT be tolerated and you will be removed without cause or warning. This is a fun league with good people and we want to keep it that way.
1. We will follow the Iracing oval points system.
2. Two ( 2 ) Bonus points for winning the pole. In the event that 2 drivers score the exact same qualifing time, BOTH drivers will be rewarded 2 bonus points.
3. Two ( 2 ) Bonus points for leading the most laps.
4. One ( 1 ) Bonus point for leading a lap.
5. Incidents: Championship point(s) will be deducted for each incident on the track as scored by Iracing. (Bonus points will NOT be affected) The deductions are as follows:
1 incident = 0 Championship Points
2 incidents = -1 Championship point
3 incidents = -1 Championship point
4 incidents = -2 Championship points
5 incidents = -2 Championship points
6 incidents = -4 Championship points
7 incidents = -4 Championship points
8 incidents = -6 Championship points
9 incidents = -6 Championship points
10 incidents = -8 Championship points
...etc...etc down the list same pattern.
6. Three (3) Bonus points will be awarded for 0 incidents in a race. ( You must be running when the race finishes and complete 95% of total laps in the race)
7. One (1) drop week for each driver. IE: If we race 10 races a season, 9 will be scored with your worst race being thrown out.
8. Lucky Dog will be in full effect. Def: 1st Truck one or more laps down (regadless where in the line he/she is) gets a wave around the pace car under yellow flag conditions.
9. Iracing rules for wave around for lapped cars will be in effect as usual. (meaning: if your a lap or more down, and you choose not to pit, and stay DIRECTLY behind pace car while the leaders pit, you will be waved around.
This DOES NOT count as a lucky dog, so in theory, during the race, its possible for more than one car to pass the pace car under yellow, recieving one lap back)
10. In the event that there is a tie for the championship, the driver with the most wins will win the championship. If this scenario ends in a tie, it will then go to the driver with the most bonus points.
11. When coming down pit road, stay to the right lane until you are within 5 stalls of your own. Infraction: black flag
12. When exiting your pit stall, do not drive through the stall or trucks in front of you. Turn right out of your stall and continue down to the pit road exit. Infraction: black flag
13. When exiting the pits, do not enter the racing surface until the backstretch. Infraction: black flag.
14. black flags WILL BE served UNLESS you slide through pit row becasue of, or avoiding, an accident, or game, or admin error. Let admin know instantly if there is a game mechanic problem. If its your error, your serving it.
15. There are NO points awarded for attending practice.
16. If you do NOT start the race, you will recieve NO championship points.
17. Race Clean. Dirty and rough driving will NOT be tolerated.These rules are in effect to make us all better racers. This League is for fun we are all friends here to help each other learn, and become better drivers. Racing incidents will happen, do your best, make sure to have enough practice before heading to the track and lets be competative.
18. Nordgar TV governing bodies have the right to deduct points for reckless driving or intentional wrecks. They also have the right to sit you out for future races or expel you from league for these violations. Each incident will be reviewed by governing bodies at the end of the race to determine the outcome.
Points added or deducted will be done so after the race has concluded.
